As a minister and end-of-life companion, I offers spiritual midwifery for those nearing transition, guiding couples and families through sacred acts of completion such as the Sacred Union at Life’s Threshold. These ceremonies honor love as an eternal force, helping individuals close this chapter with the same intentionality and reverence with which they have lived and loved.

Through this work, the symbolic becomes healing: a witnessed promise, a final expression of devotion, and a bridge between worlds.

Purpose & Essence

At the threshold between life and death, love remains the most enduring force. Sacred Union at Life’s Threshold is a deeply compassionate service designed for individuals who wish to marry their beloved before transitioning. This sacred ceremony honors devotion, closure, and the continuity of spirit — offering comfort to both the couple and their loved ones.

Service Description

As an ordained minister and end-of-life companion, The PreNeed Doula officiates marriage ceremonies for those entering End-of-Life, in hospice care, home care, or hospital settings. Each ceremony is personalized to reflect the couple’s unique journey, beliefs, and emotional needs.

Ceremony may include:

• A custom vow exchange tailored to the couple’s love story
• Integration of ancestral or spiritual blessings
• Inclusion of family and friends, either in person or virtually

Optional ritual elements, such as:

• Candle or unity light ceremony
• Ring exchange or symbolic token
• Shared prayer, poem, or reflection
• A Keepsake Marriage Blessing Certificate (signed and framed)
• Optional Legal Filing Service (state laws permitting)
